I've always been a portrait photographer, preferring to shoot spontaneous portraits of people. I like to try to capture people being themselves, which is why I photograph buskers, bikers, and all manner of people that I meet out and about. But I've noticed a trend in my recent photos which I never really noticed before - I seem to be taking lots of picture of churches and cathedrals, and I'm quite enjoying it.

I never really thought of myself as having any interest in architecture, but when it comes to photographing buildings, that's a different matter. I certainly never set out in photography with the aim of photographing places of worship and the likes. So it seems I've managed to evolve myself a new hobby, without even realising it. I guess you never know what will take your fancy until you try it.

As for whether I'm any good at it, well, that's up to you good people to decide!
